Travelocity or Expedia for a large group? Travelocity or Expedia for a large group? I have used them to make cost comparisons and research for bigger groups, but for a large group I generally suggest going to a tourist agency, just so you have a living one to make enquiries if something changes in your schedules.
Consider your research to the agents - often they will be with what is on line prices on offer, and with groups of ten or more you will sometimes be eligible for rebates..... not always say, but sometimes. But on the other hand, I know someone who has made bookings for groups of 6 or 8 persons via on-line tour service and has had no problem.
However, if you decide on an agents, you should look around. Don't let anyone persuade you into something you don't want, don't vote against the agents who will work with you. I' d be in agreement with the above - I use the great sites constantly for elementary single travel needs such as week-end hotels and have never experienced an issue, but for a group I would want someone who knows Puerto Vallarta.
Additionally, getting a group to take a little bit of after sales support, and I don't think a do-it-yourself website is your best choice. Travelocity or Expedia for a large group?
