U.S. Travellers Association's Daily Getaways are in their second last weeks and this year, there are specials for Marriott Gift Cards, a $1000 Orbitz voucher and various package deals for a stay in Las Vegas. The Daily Getaways was launched at the beginning of April and so far had interesting deals for interested parties in order to make savings with various tour operators.
Timetable for this weeks is as follows: The Fairmont and MGM Las Vegas deals do not seem like a very good business to me, on the contrary, I think the rates are pretty awful. They might be able to get some value from the US$1000 Orbitz Promotion Code for $650 however keep in mind that you cannot match it with the ever-present 15% discount codes that Orbitz always has available on their website and your savings are actually $200 and not $350 that will be just likened to using the general offering and do not have to make a $1000+ buy right away.
The Marriott Poison Cards could be an interesting proposition on Thursday, May 3, as they are available in smaller Denomination and are available worldwide: Vouchers are given in electronic form and this offers a 20% saving, but remember that when used at a location internationally, it is likely that an unfavourable currency quote will be used, which will further reduce the value of the voucher.
Friday is the last day of the weeks for a 3 nights in the Venetian and the Palazzo, which can make a lot of sence. But it's also not a good one. Wrong thing is that there are un-specified dimming data and it's not exactly a great deal, so I'll definitely pass on this bid and will be paying money in currency for my sojourn in Las Vegas next months.
It is difficult to really get the most out of many of these offerings, and it is important to look at them in an objective way before buying. I' liked some of the earlier deals, among them the one for Hertz last weeks. I' ll be waiting for the Hyatt promotion to become operational next weekend and adding a few additional World of Hyatt Points to my bankroll when I can buy them.
Next weeks we will be updating our readership for the last round of the 2018 advertising year.
