Connect to Expedia
Please use the following steps to enable the connection: Log in to Expedia Partner Central and obey the directions in this support article to connect. If you are unsure about these options, please consult your customer service representative. Normally we will e-mail you within 24 hrs with a prompt to chart (or compare) your room type.
Select Settings -> Channel -> Expedia. It is also recommended that you activate the "Update installments automatically" option, otherwise the installment refresh must be initiated by hand. Connectivity is enabled as soon as map completion is complete. Ensure that all room categories have the right limitations as you would expect, as the rooms can be booked immediately after activation of the call.
If you have not activated the option to refresh your room tariffs when assigning room categories, you must now click on "Send Pricing Update" under Settings -> Channel -> Expedia and obey the prompts. To have the system refresh itself please go back to Settings -> Channel -> Expedia and click on "Edit".
Ensure that the "Automatic refresh rates" option is activated. From now on, if you currently receive your Expedia account information, it must be faxed to you. If you have a question, please contact our customer service department. When you have a large number of such reservations, we will be happy to help you with the imports.
You can no longer modify prices, availabilities, limitations, etc. via your Expedia account once the link is established. We do, however, advise you to use your Expedia account to check that your account is up to date, prices and reservations are synchronized properly. If you have a problem with both sides of the call, Expedia will instead e-mail or facsimile the reservation to you.
